International Machine Tool Show (IMTS) Sept. 8-13

See a wide variety of rotary cutting tools in Star SU’s booth in the West Building at McCormick Place (F-2238 and F-2240) during IMTS in Chicago, IL, from September 8 through September 13. The display will include solid carbide drills, form tools, gundrills and end mills; polycrystalline diamond (PCD) coated and tipped form tools and reamers; and carbide preform blanks, round rod, cold head dies and bushings, and special forms for wear parts.
Gear hobs, milling cutters, and shapers will be on display in Star SU’s booth in the North Building in the Gear Generation Pavilion (B-6912).

Grind a Broader Range of Complex Tools in Less Time
Star Cutter will demonstrate the CTG-3 tool and cutter grinder, the newest innovation from Star Machine Tools, at IMTS 2008. The CTG-3 features a small foot print for manufacturing or reconditioning cutting tools, part programming through NUMROTOplus Software, flexibility via a three-station HSK grinding wheel pack and coolant manifold change system. An auto loading system is also available for unattended operation.
